Prepare Your Ears for Tired Pony, the Next Supergroup

Take the singer from Snow Patrol, the guitarist from REM, and the drummer from Belle and Sebastian and you get the band called Tired Pony. According to Pitchfork, Tired Pony is infuenced by Smog and Calexico. Awesome!

I was even more pumped to hear that She and Him (the musical collaboration between Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward) will be on the Tired Pony record that drops on July 12th. That's right--two supergroups on the same album! This is like a hipster double down sandwich.
