Etsuko Furuya's Bold Prints (Fabric)

Etsuko Furuya's fabric line, Echino, pushes the boundaries of "indie cute." Her color choices are bold, and she tends to mix unusual shades of contrasting color combinations (clementine orange with teal blue; faded pink/red with kelly green). Add in some safari animals cloud surfing, and you have Echino. I love it. The line comes from Japan, but you can order select imported prints from purlsoho and superbuzzy.
