/Film just reported that director Spike Jonze (Being John Malkovich; Adaptation) and Arcade Fire will be making a short film in Austin, TX. LA Weekly called it a Hipstergasm. First of all, hell yeah! Second of all, anyone have tips for sneaking on to movie sets?
This film collaboration will be about teenage friends "growing apart." Jonze and Arcade Fire worked together on Where the Wild Things Are, and we all know I cried throughout that movie. I am excited to see how Jonze explores late adolescence.
If Jonze's short film is on par with the killer piece he made with Kanye West (see "We were once a fairytale" below), then it may indeed be a hipstergasm.
